Carla Amorim’s new Botanical collection of jewelry inspired by plants and birds is beautiful, but her stud-and-earring-jacket combinations may well be the highlight of the offerings. Made in 18k gold with Amorim’s signature beaded effects, five different SKUs exist—black diamonds, colorless diamonds, pink tourmaline and emeralds, Paraiba tourmaline and diamonds, and black diamonds and fire opal—with oval-shape studs and skirts (my name for jackets that flare out like the frock beneath the lobe). The skirts are beyond lovely, with their light-looking butterfly wing–inspired silhouettes—a super-feminine touch that amps up the appearance of an otherwise simple stud earring. Retail prices for pairs range from $3,190 to $20,900.
