The Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Fair is open for business, and one of the most noticeable trends already seen is snake motifs. With nearly 1,500 exhibitors—and a snake evident in some form or another in most booths—there are an endless number of interpretations, and certainly enough to post one daily.

New styles from jewelry world rock star Stephen Webster featured familiar themes—fish scales, barbed wire, and of course, serpents—so it was no surprise to see a few one-off snake pieces in display cases.
