The Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Fair is open for business, and one of the most noticeable trends already seen is snake motifs. With nearly 1,500 exhibitors—and a snake evident in some form or another in most booths—there are an endless number of interpretations, and certainly enough to post one daily.
Roberto Coin brought his Fifth Season line of entry-level price points to the United States last year, and Americans continue to love it—even more so when the Italian brand offers them on-trend snake designs. A nest of new snake cuffs in silver, black rhodium and silver, and 18k yellow or rose gold-plated silver debuted to buyers yesterday on the opening day , and a number of American retailers have already placed orders. With diamond cuts on the surface and alternating matte and high-polish finishes, the styles retail from $440 to $500.
