Greetings again, folks. I departed Florence on Wednesday, and am now in Basel, Switzlerand, for the Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Fair.

Since I just started walking the show floor, I don’t have a great deal of images to share with you yet. However, I’m uploading a few to give you a little taste of what I’m already seeing.
I start out in Hall 2.2, which generally houses the large brands like Carrera Y Carrera, David Yurman, and more.

Since I just met with Mikimoto a few weeks ago, I only stopped briefly to chat with Maureen Gribbin and to see a few stunning one-of-a-kind pieces in their booth windows.

These showstoppers were designed by craftsmen in Japan. The first two pieces are Tahitian pearls and diamonds, and the last are golden South Sea pearls.
