Live Blogging the 59th Primtime Emmy Awards (Pre-Show) Part II

Felicity in a very revealing David Meister fuschia-y/purple-y dress, that the camera just happened to pan up, when a gust of wind was making its way across the red carpet. Very understated ear wear, but a lovely diamond stranded bracelet which I will have to find a picture of tomorrow. Felicity was obviously taking the “I’ll let the dress and my body do the talking,” road.

Rebecca is in a vintage Guy Laroche beaded dress from the 60s and enormous, white enamel earrings with small rubies (I think) in the center. Also a beautiful and also huge diamond fore-finger ring.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, bare necked and full-on cleavage. Good for her! She’s also in the running for biggest, honking ring of the night so far. The neck may be bare, but the knuckle busters are out in full force tonight.
She is in a purple, very fitted panel dress by Narciso Rodriguez and a Hoffman Fuller clutch, both custom made for her, for tonight.

And now I have to walk the dog. We’ll be right back.

So they’re paving Fifth Avenue by my apartment; it is very hot.

Very interesting Macy’s is sponsoring an Emmy Fashion Segment hosted by photographer Nigel Barker. He’ll be back later with a recap.

Steve Carell and his wife were very funny. They’re an adorable, humble couple and their style reflects that.

Joely Fisher is in head to toe yellow (which according to Nigel is one of “the hot colors”) and Chopard earrings, which I was fully prepared to overlook. They’re not exactly my fave. To quote Joely, “You’re a parfait and I’m a sorbet.” Fisher has on a great enamel bracelet and her own diamond ring which was a gift for her 10th anniversay.
