Lily Arkwright Opens London Flagship in Marylebone Square

U.K. jeweler Lily Arkwright has brought its lab-grown diamond jewelry to a new audience, opening a London flagship that is the Manchester-based brand’s largest showroom to date.

The London store, located at 5 Aybrook St. in the Marylebone Square residential and retail development, offers the ideal setting for shoppers to explore Lily Arkwright’s jewelry and learn about the company’s ethical sourcing of gemstones and custom-design services, says the brand’s managing director Philip Dawson.

Lily Arkwright, which has a Manchester showroom open only by appointment, is planning to open an Antwerp store sometime later this year.

“Simply put, we understand our customer. For years we’ve been a digital-first jeweler, and it’s worked brilliantly, but our clients kept asking for a place to try on rings, compare stones in natural light, and sit down with an expert,” Dawson says.

The new London store has a streamlined design and room for client-staff consultations on custom work and engagement rings.

“Opening Marylebone is a direct response to that demand. It lets us pair the efficiency and transparency of our online experience with the intimacy of a private consultation,” he adds.

The London opening fits into Lily Arkwright’s long-term plans, which Dawson describes as thoughtful and disciplined.

“We’ve grown at a fast pace over the last several years, and we’re intent on scaling without compromising service. A flagship is the logical next step,” he says. “It is an elevated, physical expression of the brand that deepens trust, improves education around both lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds, and supports our next phase of growth while keeping the customer experience at the center.”

A short walk from Oxford Street, the Marylebone area is known for its mix of boutique shops, cafes, and fine restaurants, Dawson says. Regent’s Park is also just a few minutes away, making this flagship store feel like it’s in the middle of all of the city’s action, he notes.

“Marylebone has the exact blend we love: design-literate, understated, and personal. It’s premium without being performative,” says Dawson. “Our clients are thoughtful and values-driven. They appreciate craftsmanship, clear information, and a calm setting. The neighborhood’s character mirrors that.”

He says the London space has “great bones,” clean proportions, generous natural light, and the flexibility to create areas for private client consultations.

“We kept the palette purposefully minimal so the jewelry is the hero: warm neutrals, tactile finishes, and durable materials chosen with sustainability in mind,” Dawson says. “The layout flows from an informal welcome into seated consultations, with lighting tuned for true-to-life sparkle rather than glare. It feels more like a design studio than a shop.”

The new store is larger than the Manchester showroom, so Lily Arkwright can stock exclusive designs in London. Clients might visit just to browse or for a custom jewelry consultation or meeting with an engagement specialist.

Lily Arkwright offers natural diamonds, but it has become a destination for lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, and Chatham-grown colored gemstones.

“We champion choice—lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds, lab-grown colored gemstones, and moissanite, all with transparent specs and independent grading, and U.K. craftsmanship you can feel in the finish,” Dawson says.
