The
London Diamond Bourse announced May 3 that, following the death of its
president, Freddy Hager, vice president Harry Levy will take over as club president.
Menachem
E. Prager was appointed vice president; David Joffe, treasurer; and Cyril
Ruttenberg, executive officer.
Levy
said he was sad but honored to replace his “good friend” Hager.
“The
council and I will do our best to uphold Freddy’s high standards,” Levy said in
a statement.
