Levinson Jewelers Partners With Golf Superstar Morgan Pressel’s Foundation

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.–based fine jewelry retailer Levinson Jewelers announced this week that it’s partnering with pro golfer Morgan Pressel to raise funds for the LPGA star’s charitable organization, the Morgan Pressel Foundation, which has raised more than $3.4 million to support breast cancer patient care and research.

Throughout October, Levinson will donate a percentage of any purchase during which a customer mentions Morgan Pressel, the Morgan Pressel Foundation, or the promotion’s advertisement. Online, customers can use the promo code MORGAN to ensure a donation to the charity.

“We’re fans of Morgan’s and all of her accomplishments on and off the golf course,” says store co-owner Robin Levinson. “She does amazing and inspiring work through her foundation.”

Pressel turned pro at the tender age of 17 and holds the record as the youngest winner of a modern LPGA major championship. She started her foundation in 2009 to honor the memory of her mother, Kathryn Krickstein Pressel, who died from breast cancer when Morgan was 15.

In 2010, the foundation launched a mobile mammogram and breast health clinic—the Kathryn Krickstein Pressel Mammovan—that travels to underserved populations in South Florida. And in 2013, the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Lynn Cancer Institute announced the opening of the Morgan Pressel Center for Cancer Genetics, which was created to detect strong hereditary links to breast cancer in younger women.

“Levinson Jewelers has been a friend and supporter of my foundation for several years,” Pressel said in a statement. “I appreciate them spreading the word and helping to raise funds with this promotion.”

Partnering with local charitable causes has been a constant in Levinson Jewelers’ 30 years in business.
