Lecture on the origins of silver and fashion

Noted collector and author Daniel Nadler will present an illustrated lecture on “Silver: From Fetish to Fashion,” at the Museum of Art and Design, New York, on June 8 at 6 p.m. The talk will take place in the museum’s auditorium.

The lecture is based on the recently released book by the same name, documenting the years of travel by the author and his wife and co-author, Serga, as they searched for authentic tribal and ethnic jewelry. Their journeys led them to the realization that fashion everywhere rules both costumes and accessories. The Nadlers will be available to sign copies of their book for those who attend.

The museum is located on 40 West 53rd St. For more information: 212-956-3535, info@madmuseum.org, or thru http://www.danielnadler.com.
