The 47th Street Business Improvement District is sponsoring two NYPD-led seminars for the trade
The 47th Street Business Improvement District will sponsor two NYPD-led seminars for the jewelry and diamond trade to learn about how to respond to an active shooter and terrorism awareness.
Both seminars will take place on August 29. The first seminar takes place 9:30–11:30 a.m. and is called Active Shooter. The second seminar, noon–2 p.m., is called Terrorism Awareness.
Both seminars will take place at 576 Fifth Ave. Registration is required and is available by emailing your name, company, phone number, and email address to info@diamonddistrict.org.
“Particularly in light of the many violent events the world has recently experienced, these timely seminars by the experts at the NYPD will be valuable for everyone in the jewelry industry,” shared the 47th Street Business Improvement District in a statement.
