Le Vian Elevates the Ombré Trend with New Emerald Collection

Share

The many shades of green displayed in Le Vian’s new Emerald Ombré collection hold deep meaning for Le Vian CEO Eddie LeVian, who says he feels particularly connected to emerald gemstones for their symbolism of nature, renewal, and vitality.

The brand debuted the collection in late April, a fitting time given the gradients of emerald hues showcased in the jewelry pieces. The Emerald Ombré collection is exclusively available at Le Vian’s longtime partner, Jared Jewelers.

Le Vian’s master gem cutters carefully sorted through its emerald collections to find nine unique gem-quality shades, LeVian says. The brand stockpiled these gemstones in specific shades and sizes for the past two years to create the patterns it now shows off in the Emerald Ombré jewelry pieces.

“Through our meticulous craftsmanship and years of dedication, we have crafted an entirely new way to experience the magic of emeralds,” LeVian says.

The resulting gemstones range from deep forest to a saturated sea green to vibrant lime. LeVian describes the resulting ombré as hypnotic and an achievement for Le Vian as a jewelry brand.

The Le Vian Emerald Ombré necklace ($2,300) and the Oval Necklace ($3,250) feature emeralds and diamonds in 14k Honey gold.

A connection to water plays a part in how this collection came together, LeVian says. One inspiration for the way the green plays with other gemstones and precious metals is the Emerald Coast in Sardinia, a Mediterranean beachfront that serves as a tribute to nature’s all-encompassing beauty, he adds.

An example of how this ombré comes together is the Le Vian Tramonto D’Oro Emerald Ombré ring. Its 14k Honey gold looks like the real thing, and its tone seems to make the accompanying Costa Smeralda Emerald and Nude Diamonds scattered across the wide band even more brilliant.

The 17-piece collection ranges from a simple Emerald Ombré wrapped ring in 14k Honey gold at $1,600 to Emerald Ombré hoop earrings with emeralds and diamonds in 14k Vanilla gold at $4,000 to the Emerald Ombré bangle bracelet with just over 1 ct. in diamonds, emeralds, and 14k Vanilla gold at $8,000.

Sustainability is one of Le Vian’s 2025 trends, and the brand says Peacock Aquaprase, Aquadite, and Costa Smeralda Emeralds symbolize life, growth, and interconnectedness, “inspiring us to cherish and preserve nature and urge us to nurture the greenery that sustains us.”

Ombré also has trended on and off for the past few years, mostly through ombré hair color and to some extent in fashion. Websites like Style Machine in fact call ombré a style staple rather than another passing fad.

“The Emerald Ombré collection is a stunning example of Le Vian’s unparalleled jewelry artistry,” Jared Jewelers President Claudia Cividino said in a statement. “Our customers come to Jared looking for luxurious designs and trusted quality, and we are excited to offer this new collection to our guests.”
