Lana Jewelry Introduces StoneGold Precious Stone and Karat Gold Jewelry

Chicago-based Lana Jewelry is known for its modern stylings of 14k yellow, rose, and white gold jewels, and designer Lana Bramlette is now gearing up to add more color to the line for spring 2013. The StoneGold collection—which comprises 50 SKUs of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings with rose-cut colored stones—will be available in stores at the end of the month, with prices starting at $610 retail.

“We are using our iconic chain in the pieces and intertwining stones with them,” says Bramlette. “We take design cues from Donna Karan, where we have just a slight variation of looks from season to season. This season, you see our gypsy disc motif that is boho and cool, spikes that connect to my love of geometric designs, and crosses worn lengthwise in chains. I don’t know if you can call a cross sexy, but you can be fashion-forward when you wear what you believe in.”

And one of the differences between her slice earrings and others? Price. “Ours start at $1,110 in gold with sapphires, are easy to understand, and blend so perfectly with all of our other designs. “You always see slices set with diamonds that cost $5,000,” Bramlette says. “We have not seen them like ours in the marketplace.”
