Current Kimberley Process chair ambassador Gillian Milovanovic will be among those addressing attendees at the inaugural Zimbabwe Diamond Conference at the Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Nov. 12–13.
The keynote speaker on the second day will be Abbey Chikane, the KP Monitor for Zimbabwe, who also served as the first chair of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
The meeting will also draw top leaders from diamond centers as well as mining ministers from African countries.
Speakers will include Goodwills Masimirembwa, chairman of the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation; Dave Kassel, chairman of New Reclamation Group; Ramzi Malik, director of Diamond Mining Corporation; Obed Dube, CEO of Marange Resources; Jiang Qingde, chairman of Anhui Foreign Economic Construction; Zebra Kasete, CEO of Murowa Diamonds; and Richard Mvududu, chairman of the Diamond Beneficiation Association of Zimbabwe.
