On Nov. 1, Kohl’s announced it was joining Macy’s and Target in opening its stores on the midnight before Black Friday.
The discount chain will be open for 24 hours on Friday, Nov. 25, from 12 a.m. to the following midnight.
It is the earliest opening in the company’s history.
Macy’s and Target have already announced plans to open on midnight, Thanksgiving night.
A recent survey found that 17 percent of shoppers plan to look for jewelry on Black Friday, considered one of the biggest retail days of the year.
