Kessler Jewelers, a Los Angeles-based family-owned jewelry
store, closed its doors after 43 years of business, according to a local news
report.
Allen Kessler opened the store in 1967. His son Barry took over the business
after he retired at age 79.
The store began facing tough economic conditions following
the writer’s strike three years ago and never recovered.
