Kendra Scott Uses IG to Drop Clues About Holiday Party Location

Jewelry brand and mini-retail-empire Kendra Scott is treating its fans in Austin, Texas, (where the company is headquartered) to a holiday party downtown tonight.

But there’s a fun catch—locals have to follow clues on Instagram to discover the location of the soiree.

Yesterday, the brand posted the first of four planned clues on Instagram:

“Hey, Austin! Tomorrow we’ve got a mystery holiday happy hour planned just for you. We’re going to be giving you clues all day. You piece them together, find our locale, and party the evening away—with all of us! Oh, and did we mention, there’s going to be surprises for the first 100 people and fun for everyone. Mark your calendar, this is all going down tomorrow.”

Three additional clues are scheduled to be posted today, leading up to the party this evening. According to local NBC affiliate KXAN, one of the clues will be a phrase that fans will need to know already in order to gain entry into the party. The first 100 partygoers to arrive tonight will receive a Kendra Scott gift.

“Austin has been so supportive of Kendra Scott, and we want to say thank you,” Kendra Scott told the outlet. “We look forward to bringing some cheer and continuing our holiday tradition of making spirits bright.”

Scott’s already spread considerable joy this season.

The designer partnered with Southwest Airlines to hand out a small gift to each passenger flying out of Austin on a flight to Chicago a few weeks ago.

When the passengers deplaned in Chicago (Scott’s home city), they were handed a ticket on their way to baggage claim. Once there, they were greeted by a Santa dressed in the brand’s signature yellow who collected five huge Kendra Scott boxes that rolled off the baggage cart.

Inside the boxes were dozens of tiny boxes of the brand’s jewelry, which Santa handed out to ticketholders.
