Kelly Waters has purchased two men’s jewelry brands, Legère and Lindsay & Co.
Both brands were part of the AB Group, based in Attleboro, Mass., owned by Jason and Robert Arenburg.
Both names will continue to function as separate companies but will be part of the Kelly Waters family of brands, based in the Kelly Waters headquarters in Boston.
Lindsay was established in 1943 and Legère in 1987. Lindsay is a high-end 14k gold, 18k gold, and sterling silver men’s jewelry collection, and Legère includes 14k gold, sterling, stainless steel, and plated men’s items.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to revitalize two great brands,” said Ed Waters, chief executive officer of Kelly Waters, in a statement.
He noted that Kelly Waters is also a family-owned business, which was founded in 1962 and is currently run by Ed Waters and brother Jack Waters.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
