A necklace got a lot of hype this week when Katy Perry posted it to Hillary Clinton’s Instagram account.
The pop star gave the presidential candidate a beautiful birthday present, a gold nameplate necklace that spelled out “POTUS,” and a second present, too: She posted a photo of the necklace to Clinton’s Instagram account, writing, “My birthday gift to fellow Scorpio, Hillary, says it all,” generating buzz among pop culture and news sites, including Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post, and The Hollywood Reporter.
Clinton, who turned 68 on Oct. 26, had given Perry rein of her Instagram account on Oct. 24 as the singer took to the stage in support of Clinton at a rally in Iowa.
Clinton has yet to be spotted wearing the necklace; perhaps we will have to wait until Nov. 8—2016—to see it modeled.
