The retail space was a longtime Diamond District mainstay
Equipment manufacturer Kassoy is closing its retail showroom in New York City, a longtime 47th Street mainstay, the company announced.
Beginning Sept. 1, the company will operate exclusively from its corporate headquarters in Plainview, N.Y., as well as online at Kassoy.com.
A company attributed the closing to the changing landscape of the Diamond District and the “digitalization and evolution of the jewelry industry.”
