Karen Signorino, Ricardo Basta to Be Honored by 24K Club of Southern California

The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California will present Karen Signorino and Ricardo Basta with the Excellence in Service Award at its 69th annual gala on Oct. 11 in Marina del Rey, Calif. 

The award is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry and exemplify the values of the 24 Karat Club, including social responsibility, integrity, and honor.

Signorino is the regional sales director for JM Insurance Service, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jewelers Mutual. She has been with Jewelers Mutual since 1978 and has served on the board of both the 24 Karat Club of Southern California and the California Jewelers Association. 

Basta is the owner and designer of Ricardo Basta Fine Jewelry. He is especially celebrated for his platinum bridal work, and he has won numerous AGTA Spectrum Awards, including first place in bridal. He has served as a Spectrum Awards judge and has collaborated on three books on the restoration and repair of antique and estate jewelry.
