The Jewelers Vigilance Committee is Holding a free anti-money laundering legal compliance seminar titled, “Legal Compliance Is Not Optional.” The two-hour seminar will be held April 11, at 8 a.m., at the Westin Galleria Dallas.
JVC says that government regulations for the jewelry industry just got tougher and AML regulations applicable to the industry are in place and can affect jewelry businesses. Disclosure of treatment to gemstones and proper advertising practices are part of the requirements. The seminar will include a light breakfast.
