The Jewelers Vigilance Committee and its affiliate partner, Veratad
Technologies, will present Fight Fraud
& Prevent Chargebacks, a free 30-minute webinar to help jewelers to
meet their anti–money laundering and Red Flags Rules compliance obligations and
prevent fraud and chargebacks in their stores and businesses.
 
The webinar will take place Jan. 25, 11–11:30 a.m.
 
Participants will take part in a brief online demonstration of Veratad’s
Virtual Identity Verification Technology. There will be time for questions and
answers and participants can follow up with Veratad and JVC after the webinar.
 
 
Webinar presenters include Cecilia Gardner, president and CEO, JVC; John E.
Ahrens, managing director of Veratad Technologies; and Veratad’s president, Pattie
Dillon. The webinar will be moderated by Tom Canfarotta, Veratad senior account
