Miya Owens replaces Sara Yood, who was promoted to senior counsel
Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) has named Miya Owens (pictured) assistant counsel.
Owens replaces Sara Yood, who has been promoted to senior counsel for the organization.
Owens has served as a legal and compliance consultant at Morgan Stanley and as a litigation associate at the law firm of Jacobs & Burleigh.
As assistant counsel, she will support the legal department and engage in mediation work. The organization undertakes 300 cases per year.
