The Jewelers Vigilance Committee has launched a new DVD series covering legal compliance and anti-money laundering topics that are required to run jewelry businesses. Both DVDs include legal compliance topics of interest to retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and designers. The DVD series is available for sale individually or as a set at the JA/NY Show, JVC booth #3200 on the show floor (till Wednesday) and on JVC’s Web site.

Each DVD includes a quiz to test legal knowledge. 

“JVC’s Legal Compliance DVD series is the natural companion to JVC’s compliance handbooks and our USA PATRIOT Act Compliance Kit (PACK) for AML program development, said Cecilia Gardner, JVC’s president, chief executive officer, and general counsel. “Jewelers have been asking JVC to develop a DVD series on a wide range of important topics and JVC has responded with two information-rich DVDs that can be purchased together or individually.”

Gardner presents legal compliance education seminars to jewelers across the United States and represents the industry’s needs before the government agencies that govern how the industry does business. These DVDs are a film of gardner speaking to an audience of jewelry industry members in Chicago.
