Jewelry Television raised $80,000 for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement during the month of February.
The company designated February “Love Your Heart” month through a multimedia campaign raising awareness about the risk of heart disease.
JTV plans to continue its support of the Go Red movement on an ongoing basis.
“We were pleased with the outstanding number of donations from JTV customers and employees contributed to the Go Red for Women movement,” said Tim Matthews, CEO of JTV, in a statement. “Our shopping network reaches 80 million U.S. households, so if this campaign helps save even one life, we will have used our platform for reaching women and their families effectively.”
