John Hardy Opening U.S. Store

The brand’s first U.S. boutique will take up an entire building at 118 Prince St. in New York City, reports say

John Hardy is opening its first U.S. store in New York City, reports say.

The brand will mount its first U.S. boutique at 118 Prince St. in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City, said a news release attributed to real estate company Thor Retail Advisors.

According to Commercial Observer, which broke the story, the lease for the 3,600-square-foot space will be “long term,” and John Hardy will take up all three floors of the building.

John Hardy declined comment.  The brand was purchased in 2014 by Catterton, which last year merged with LVMH’s private equity arm. Thor executive vice president Matthew Siegel declined comment.
