JIS Ready to Welcome Spring Buyers in Miami

JIS seeks to reinforce its position as the jewelry industry’s leading global sourcing hub, at a time when cross-border trade is of critical importance, with its upcoming spring show in Miami.

JIS Spring, taking place March 8–10 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, is set to welcome exhibitors and retailers from across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

“The spring show in Miami Beach allows us to connect jewelry retailers and suppliers in one centralized hub,” said Sara McDonough, event director for JIS, in a statement. “The timing and location create a perfect destination for a unique community, made up of local boutique stores in Florida, buyers gearing up for travel and tourism in the Caribbean, and designers across the Americas. This is the show that the jewelry trade trusts for immediate delivery and secure transactions.”

The show is timed for retailers to restock their inventory post-holiday and to take advantage of trending styles for their up-to-the-minute customers. This year’s event will introduce a number of areas, including an Accessories & Gifts pavilion that encourages retailers to expand beyond jewelry offerings.

On the show floor, the Brands pavilion will spotlight both established names and up-and-coming designers, and also feature “On Trend With JIS,” pop-up events for conversation about topics such as trends in metals, engagement ring styles, and more.

In addition, a new lineup of exhibitors—including David Kord, Hoover & Strong, and Orolink, among others—is sure to impress retail buyers, JIS said.

Opening-day events at JIS Spring include a “Sail & Socialize” welcome reception on March 8, a nod to Miami’s cruise industry and JIS’ longstanding ties to it.
