That’s all, folks! The year is coming to an end, and we close out December with the busiest—but, in many ways, also most rewarding—time of year. My inbox was a reflection of the chaos that occurs in any retail industry during the holidays at the start of the month, and right about now, it’s obviously getting ready to take a little winter nap as we head off to enjoy this time.
Plenty of the good stuff came in throughout the month, from birthstones tanzanite and turquoise—a welcome sight any time of year—to diamond creations shimmering like snowflakes.
Neutral looks came on the heels of Pantone’s Cloud Dancer announcement, mostly in the form of diamonds and pearls. If it’s deep and saturated color you’re after, the Color of the Year might disappoint, but in terms of jewelry, when are we ever not interested in diamonds and pearls?
And then, of course, there were the ones taking up spaces on many a wish list—the most giftable pieces any jewelry lover would be thrilled to have.
