The Friedman Group will offer a two-day seminar for jewelry store owners Sept. 21–22, in Henderson, Nev.
The event, “High Performance Jewelry Retailing in a Low Performance World,” will feature presentations from retail expert Harry J. Friedman; David Geller, founder of JewelerProfit and creator of Geller’s Blue Book for jewelry repair and custom design; and Ken Bankson and David Downard, of RMSA, an inventory control and cash flow management organization.
Friedman’s keynote address, “World Class Jewelry Retailing,” will cover key performance indicators, establishing sales goals, coaching salespeople, assessing and engaging customers, add-on sales, closing, and other topics.
Geller’s “Five Reasons for Financial Distress in a Jewelry Store” will discuss common business mistakes, and Bankson and Downard will address “Your Inventory Heart,” which deals with cash and inventory planning.
The seminar will be held at The Friedman Center for Sales & Management, Henderson, Nev.
