My favorite photos are the ones of celebrities in their hotel rooms, getting all glammed up before they hit the trail for a movie premiere, awards show, or other event. It just feels like a more intimate glimpse at how all the magic is made, and when they talk about the jewelry, well, that is extra sweet.
Many of the stylists also seem to be jewelry lovers in their own right (accessorizing is a big part of their business, after all), and they often post some really cool shots of not just their celebs wearing jewelry, but of themselves, too.
That’s why I was so excited to see “The Top 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood 2018” from The Hollywood Reporter, because it gave me the names of some new people to follow.

Kate Young, who’s making waves styling the likes of Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez, and Natalie Portman—to name only a few—snagged the top spot, with a load of talent to follow. I was most excited to find the stylists behind Yara Shahidi and Tessa Thompson (I have serious girl crushes on them)—Jason Bolden, and Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, respectively—so those were instant follows. I can’t wait to see more of what they share on their feeds.
