Especially pretty shades of blue and green seen in apparel and accessories, including jewelry, are soothing and appealing—the colors of gentle seas. And what do you know—soft versions of blue (dusk blue) and green (grayed jade) are among the top 10 colors in the Pantone Fashion Color Report for Spring 2013.
The March 2013 issue of C California Style highlights fashions and jewels in aquatic hues. Featured jewels are earrings by Irene Neuwirth, a Missoni bracelet, and a ring from Oscar de la Renta.
The March 2013 issue of InStyle has a two-page “Color Crash Course” on the color pistachio: “Say hello to spring! This pretty, super-pale green—which calls to mind a tender flower bud—is the ideal hue for the season.” Spotlighted are chalcedony and gold vermeil earrings from Coralia Leets.
