The longtime maker of beaded and woven cord bracelets recently debuted a lifestyle store in Santa Monica, Calif.

Vietnamese-born designer Chan Luu has expanded her signature jewelry line into a California-cool lifestyle brand complete with a new 925-square-foot boutique, according to WWD (subscription required). Offerings include clothes and ceramics and—of course—jewelry. Luu told WWD that the idea to reopen a retail store (she had one upwards of 10 years ago) came from her investors, who have also opened several in Japan. A grand opening party that is open to the public will take place on May 6 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
