A roundup of jewelry crime stories from the past week:

Store Owner Thwarts Alleged Robbery

San Jose, Calif. The owner of a San Jose jewelry store thwarted an alleged robbery on Nov. 26. The owner pulled out a gun and chased the masked and armed suspects outside of the store. According to police reports, at least one shot was fired at the owner, who, in turn, fired back at the alleged robbers.

Suspects Pepper Spray 6 People in California Jewelry Store

Santa Monica, Calif. On Nov. 30 two robbers pepper-sprayed 6 people inside of Cabochon Fine Jewelry. The suspects then broke display cases and stole jewelry pieces. The robbers fled before police could catch them. 

Armed Robbers Hold Employees at Gunpoint

Los Gatos, Calif. On Nov. 27 armed robbers held employees at gunpoint at Blacy’s Fine Jewelers. One of the suspects smashed display cases and stole jewelry.  The suspects then escaped in a stole getaway vehicle. Anyone with information about the robbery is requested to call Los Gatos police at 408-827-3219.
