A roundup of jewelry crime stories from the past week:

North Miami Jeweler Store Owner Shot on Christmas Eve

Miami, Fla. The 7th Avenue Flea Market was hit with an armed robbery on Dec. 24. Store owner Neil Wilson suffered injuries after being shot by the suspects in his shoulder. He is being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Anyone with information is requested to contact Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.

Suspect Punches Michigan Store Owner

Redford, Mich. On Dec. 27, a male suspect entered Fantasy Jewelers, jumped over the counter, and punched the store owner. The man proceeded to break a glass display case and steal items before fleeing the store. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Redford police or Crime Stoppers. 

Dozens of Pieces of Jewelry Stolen From Utah Mall

Ogden, Utah On Dec. 27, two men stole 60 to 70 pieces of expensive jewelry from Morgan Jewelers. The robbery occurred in the afternoon in the presence of shoppers. Police have not determined whether a weapon was used during the robbery. Anyone with information is requested to contact Ogden Police at 801-395-8221.
