A roundup of jewelry crime stories from the past week:

Armed Suspects Break Into California Store

Stockton, Calif. On Aug. 22, suspects armed with revolvers broke into Kay Jewelers. The men took an undisclosed amount of jewelry and fled in a black Chevrolet. No one was injured.

Suspects Steal Watches From Pennsylvania Store

King of Prussia, Pa. Two alleged suspects have been taken into custody for a possible connection with an Aug. 22 robbery in the King of Prussia Mall. On that date, three men entered Tourneau and threatened a security guard with a sledge hammer. One suspect smashed display cases while the other two stole watches.

California Jeweler Found Dead in Store

Hayward, Calif. Ramiro Espinoza, owner of Espinoza’s Jewelry and Boutique, was found shot to death in his store on Aug. 24. Police are still investigating the crime and searching for a possible motive.
