A roundup of jewelry store crimes from the past week:

Suspect Shoots Accomplice and Owner in Pennsylvania Holdup

York, Pa. A man suffering form a gunshot wound remains in custody at the Bronx hospital because of his suspected involvement in the July 12 robbery of White Jewelers. The man was allegedly accidently shot by one of his accomplices during the holdup in which the trio stole expensive watches. John White, the owner of the store, was shot three times during the robbery and remains in serious condition at York Hospital.

Florida Couple Arrested for June Robbery

St. Peters, Mo. A St. Peters couple was arrested for robbing Smith Jewelry and Coins and pawning the stolen items for cash. On June 25, the armed suspect stole more than 100 gold and diamond rings. After receiving an anonymous tip, police arrested the suspect and his girlfriend, who admitted to selling the stolen jewelry.

New Jersey Store Hit With Armed Robbery

Oakhurst, N.J. Multiple suspects robbed N.J. Gold Buyers on July 14 and then fled the scene. One suspect was armed with a handgun, but no one was injured. Police are investigating the crime and looking for possible associations with other cases in the surrounding area.
