JCK Jewelry Agenda: Week of April 12

This week, many of us are still at home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make time for some vintage Pateks, win big on Instagram, sip margaritas, tune in to a couple of podcasts offering some very valuable advice, or hunt for Easter eggs of the highest order.

(Head here for up-to-the minute COVID-19-related breaking news and blog content.)

Sotheby’s recently introduced a series of online Watches Weekly auctions for the month of April, a new fast and dynamic format to accommodate the rapidly evolving market. Bidding for this week’s Patek Philippe Design and Horology sale began on April 8, but you have until Wednesday to nab one of 30 Pateks across a variety of eras and styles including a highly collectible Nautilus with Blue Jeans dial  (ref: 5711P).

WIN
Tacori “Love is Essential” Giveaway: Through April 16

Tacori giveaway rings
According to Tacori, the set for this week’s grand prize winner was chosen because the company was thinking of people who might be sad about having to cancel or postpone their weddings due to COVID-19 restrictions and instead wanted to give them something to look forward to.

For each week that Californians are under stay-at-home guidelines, bridal mega-brand Tacori will be giving away jewelry to a “Love is Essential” grand prize winner. Whether it’s an iconic Tacori engagement ring, a classic wedding ring set, an anniversary ring, a pair of earrings, or a necklace, the weekly giveaways are meant to stress the fact that “love is not canceled” even as so many cherished aspects of our everyday lives are on hold.

All details, and how to enter, can be seen here. Follow Tacori’s Instagram or subscribe to its newsletter to be notified.
