10 Memorable Jewelry Moments from the 2019 Golden Globes
The parade of exquisite jewelry worn by Hollywood’s A-listers at last night’s Golden Globe Awards made for riveting red-carpet watching.
Not just because the jewelry was so beautiful (and, oh man, it was), but because there was so much of it. In the not-so-distant past, celebs and their stylists would choose one gorgeous “statement” piece of jewelry for the red carpet—be it a pair of opulent emerald earrings or a really amazing bracelet. And that was your jewelry moment.
But, huzzah! A glorious maximalism has come into vogue, and stylists are suddenly unafraid to over-gild their lilies—in diamonds, colored gemstones, and bold and sculptural metal styles.
Here are the 10 jewelry moments from last night’s show that gave me that “yesssssss” feeling. (And check out more great Golden Globes jewelry moments on the Golden Globes Highlight on our Instagram.)
