Jewelers of America Funds State Events

Jewelers of America provided $12,500 in funding last year to its state and regional association partners via its Affinity Group Support Fund, it announced May 6.

The recipients of the 2010 funding were the New York State Jewelers Association, and the Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma Jewelers Associations, which together organize the Jewelers Executive Conference.

While the fund supports the efforts of state and regional association partners, its primary purpose is to directly benefit all JA members. JA has established criteria so that approved projects will have a direct and positive impact on members, such as projects focusing on increased member benefits, improved member participation, and administrative cost savings. Proposed projects must directly align with the JA Mission, thereby ensuring the delivery of benefits to individual association members and to the jewelry industry as a whole.
