Jewelers of America Announces 2015 CASE Awards Winners

Intricate designs and current trends prevailed among the winners of Jewelers of America’s 2015 CASE Awards.

The winners were selected by a panel of industry experts from a pool of JA member applicants during the JA New York Winter Show in January.

“Each year, Jewelers of America uses the CASE Awards retail design competition to shine a national spotlight on the craft and creativity of independent jewelers,” said JA president and CEO David J. Bonaparte. “The jewelry entered into the CASE Awards highlights the fine craftsmanship that consumers can find in Jewelers of America–member stores nationwide.”

The winners are:

Jewelry Up to $2,000, First Place

Pendant in 18k yellow gold with moonstones and pear-shape labradorite

Dianna Rae High, Dianna Rae Jewelry, Lafayette, La.

 

Jewelry $2,001 to $5,000, First Place

Zephyr necklace in 14k white gold with 0.55 ct. t.w. channel-set round brilliant diamonds 

Susan Drake, Spectrum Art & Jewelry, Wilmington, N.C.

 

Jewelry $5,001 to $10,000, First Place

Ring in platinum and 18k rose gold with 0.87 ct. t.w. diamonds and fancy brown diamonds 

Sarkis Sarkissian, Giraux Fine Jewelry, San Francisco

 

Jewelry $10,000 & Over, First Place

Ring in 14k gold with a 2.02 ct. Asscher-cut diamond and 40 baguette- and brilliant-cut diamonds
