Jewelers Mutual Insurance has partnered with Jewellers Vigilance Canada to continue the latter group’s mission of protecting the Canadian jewelry and watch industry.

Under the agreement, Jewellers Vigilance Canada will endorse JMI products. In turn, JMI will provide companies it insures with the Canadian organization’s comprehensive crime prevention package.

“Jewelers Mutual is proud to partner with this organization that has made such significant contributions to the war on jewelry crime,” David Sexton, vice president of loss prevention at Jewelers Mutual, said in a statement. “With Jewelers Mutual’s help, Jewellers Vigilance Canada continues to work closely with Canadian law enforcement to help them better understand the crime threats that Canadian jewelers face.”
