Jewelers for Children to Honor Stuart Lee and Dennis Ulrich

Jewelers for Children (JFC) has announced the honorees for its annual Facets of Hope event, to be held in Las Vegas on June 5, 2016. Stuart Lee of Signet Jewelers and Dennis Ulrich of the Richline Group will be honored at the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino, where the event is set to take place. Both Lee and Ulrich have agreed to serve as the event’s guests of honor, accepting the responsibility of assisting JFC with raising funds to benefit children who are the victims of catastrophic illness or life-threaterning abuse and neglect.

After joining Signet Jewelers more than 19 years ago, Stuart Lee was promoted to executive vice president in 2015 and serves on the Signet Executive Committee and as secretary of the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America board of directors. Dennis Ulrich and his wife Liz started their company Bel-Oro International in 1994, turning it into one of the largest suppliers of gold jewelry in the United States. In 2007, the company was sold to Berkshire Hathaway and the new Richline Group was initiated, of which Ulrich is now the CEO. He has served on board positions for Jewelers for Children and Jewelers Security Alliance and also served as president of the 24 Karat Club of New York.

Prominent industry leaders are honored by JFC each year, and the event is held to celebrate JFC’s success in yearly fund-raising efforts, and commitments to its charity partners are announced. More than 1,850 industry guests attended the 2015 event.

“It’s very exciting to be named as an honoree while serving as board chair,” said JFC chairman Dennis Ulrich in a press release. “Being selected with someone as deserving as Stuart is a true honor, and I’m certain the evening will be memorable.”

Festivities are set to begin at 6 p.m. in the South Seas Ballroom of the Mandalay Bay Resort on June 5. Dinner and the program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Those interested in attending or sponsoring the event can contact JFC at 212-687-2949, or email info@jewelersforchildren.org.
