Jewelers of America Appoints Four Board Directors

On July 21, Jewelers of America elected four members to its board of directors for three-year terms.

The new directors are:

– Joseph Corey (pictured, top), president of Day’s Jewelers, Waterville, Maine. Corey also serves on the JCK Las Vegas show’s advisory board and the Jewelers for Children board of directors.

– Krystle Craycraft (pictured, below), senior vice president, Jewelers Mutual Group, Dallas.  Her background includes time at Neiman Marcus Group and J.Crew.

– Sue Hopeman (pictured, below), vice president of Robbins Brothers Jewelry, Azusa, Calif. She has 14 years’ experience in the jewelry industry, including 7 years at Zales.

– Sherry Smith (pictured, below), director of business development, The Edge Retail Academy, Omaha. Smith has 20 years of experience, and previously served as principal partner in two retail jewelry stores.

“It is an honor to welcome these four talented individuals to the Jewelers of America board of directors,” said chairman Bob Moeller in a statement.
