The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California has announced that Karen Signorino and Ricardo Basta are the recipients of the 2014 Excellence in Service Award.
They will be honored at the club’s annual dinner dance and gala on Oct. 11 in Marina del Rey, Calif.
Signorino is the regional sales director for JM Insurance Service LLC, a subsidiary of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company. She has been with the company since 1978.
Ricardo Basta is a celebrated jeweler whose work often shows up on the red carpet. He has previously been honored by the AGTA and the MJSA.
“We are honored to present this year’s Excellence in Service Awards to Karen Signorino of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Services and Ricardo Basta of Ricardo Basta Fine Jewelry,” said Rossana Aguilar, 24 Karat Club president, in a statement. “These individuals are pillars in the jewelry community and deserve to be recognized for their exceptional leadership, dedication, and outstanding contributions to our industry.”
