Jen’s Obsession: Suzanne Kalan’s Entry-Level Baguette-Cut Diamond Rings

Get thee to Kalan’s booth immediately and check out her to-die-for entry-level engagement ring options

Bridal is a notoriously tough category in which to find newness—especially for entry-level options. So when I saw Suzanne Kalan’s newest diamond engagement rings from her Fireworks (baguette-cut diamonds) collection yesterday at the Centurion jewelry show, I was thrilled. Over-the-moon excited to be exact. Because…look at them! The true entry-priced ring in 18k with diamonds (the smallest piece pictured in the rear of the photo below) is $1,500. This is not a semi-mount—all the diamonds are included! Sure, the stones are small, but the cluster effect makes it look as though it should cost a lot more than it does. The largest ring shown here retails for $4,400. How many semi-mounts are on the market today that feature such tired designs and no center stone and start at retail prices of triple this sum? A lot.

Your entry-price shoppers have got to be so bored with seeing solitaires and traditional halos. Wow them with these options priced comfortably within their reach.

Editor’s note: Professional shots were not available at press time.
