When I saw the clean lines of Sethi Couture’s new diamond jewelry line at the JA New York Winter show in March, I couldn’t help but fall for its bold silhouettes and baguette-cut diamonds. Called the Silhouette collection for obvious reasons (outline of geometric shapes set with tiny diamonds), San Francisco–based Pratima and Prerna Sethi’s latest styles are spot-on regarding fashion trends now: minimalism, oversize silhouettes, and petite baguette cuts—an editor’s fave for their sweet retro looks, especially when set into modern designs—among others. Plus, industry is in desperate need of more fashion-forward diamond looks, and Silhouette fits the bill like few other collections do.
