Jen’s Obsession: Rina Limor’s Gold and Diamond Ear Climbers

If these minimalist and unusual diamond earrings look familiar, then it might be because you’ve seen a pair on the cover of JCK’s July–August issue. (The model wore a pair in yellow gold, see photo below.)

These are ear climbers—a design that seemingly climbs up the ear—that feature a post and back and are made by Rina Limor at LuxeIntelligence. The New York City–based design house has a history of making classic-looking high-end jewelry, but has recently unveiled some trendy styles like these. I love them for their uncommon and modern look mixed with the timeless materials of gold and diamonds. I think styles like these are poised to become classics for a new generation of jewelry shoppers, and I’m thrilled to see a seasoned vendor evolve offerings and venture into contemporary design territory. (Mastoloni did, too, with its recently unveiled pearl ear climbers.) Here’s hoping that more firms will follow suite.
