Onomatopoeia jewelry? I think it might exist in One Jewelry’s Romi ring. The 14k gold and diamond piece has a decidedly elegant cartoony silhouette that looks like it should come with its own sound effect. Remember old comic books in which superheroes would pow, thunk, and boom their way past bad guys? Or Snap, Crackle, and Pop—the Rice Krispies characters with names that sounded the way the cereal did when milk joined the mix? Well, that’s the nostalgic effect that this ring has on me. If it could utter a sound or syllable, I imagine it would scream glam! Or maybe this is an option for a future literal version? Whatever the case, this one retails for $2,350.
