Every week in the early 1990s, actress Jennie Garth (a.k.a. Kelly Taylor in the original Beverly Hills, 90210 TV series) was there: a familiar face on the tube as everyone in my dorm raced to the lounge to watch the show. What drama would the spoiled California teen encounter, and how would that Brandon-Dylan love triangle play out? Garth’s days of hanging out at the Peach Pit may be long gone, and some of that onscreen tragedy may have leaked into her real life, but the actress isn’t letting it show—particularly during this year’s Emmy week.
On Sept. 21, Garth attended two pre-Emmy events—the Entertainment Weekly party at Fig & Olive Melrose Place in West Hollywood and the Variety and Women in Film event at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills—wearing pieces from Scottsdale, Ariz.–based jewelry design firm Just Jules. With locks secured by gold braided headbands, a pair of triple drop rose-cut diamond earrings in 18k yellow gold gave the actress an ethereal glow, and an award-winning openwork gold and diamond bracelet perfectly accented the shimmer of her gown. Oh, if Brandon and Dylan could see her now!
