The 2010 Jewelers Executive Conference will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 20 & 21, at the newly renovated Marriott Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas.

The educational programs will now be offered in three tracks focusing on the three fundamental areas of responsibility assumed by decision makers in independent retail jewelry stores. Jewelers attending the conference will be able to select from marketing, people & production or profitability.

David Peters, director of education for Jewelers of America and Kate Peterson, president of Performance Concepts will coordinate the three educational tracks and have already been working with the conference leaders to confirm presenters and topics for the educational sessions.

The conference includes displays by 50 of the jewelry industry’s premier suppliers and will provide the jewelry store owners, managers and decision-making executives more face-to-face time with those vendors.

The schedule also includes an informal pre-conference dinner on Friday, and a hosted hospitality room open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening after the planned dinners and programs.
